Hey, Busy Lady!
I'm so glad our paths have crossed and I appreciate you taking time out of YOUR busy day to stop by and learn a little more about me and my mission.
I am a health and wellness advocate with almost two decades of experience from Elementary Physical Education to direct sales with Beachbody (BODi), a global fitness leader. A "forty something" wife and mom to 4 active kids, ages Pre Teen to Preschool, I learned early on in motherhood that keeping yourself a priority is crucial.
In addition to my experience in both the classroom and as an online wellness advocate and mentor of women for 9 years, I have certifications in Personal Training, Group Fitness, and Behavior Change through ACE, The American Council on Exercise.
My family and I live in Northwest Indiana, near beautiful Lake Michigan, where I love walks in nature, paddle boarding with friends, beach sunsets, and living out the busy, blessed life that comes with 4 kids and their active schedules.

In 2015, I came home from a long work day of teaching Physical Education (elementary level...also known as the revolving door schedule). I sat down in front of the TV with my then 3 and 1 year old…and was spent. I got up once to grab snacks from the couch, and stayed there until it was time to make dinner. Unmotivated to play with my begging 3 year old, and praying my baby would sleep a little longer, I knew I had to do something about my serious lack of energy and eating habits. But where would I start? The gym was getting too hard to get to consistently and I was feeling like I had lost my purpose and spark.
A friend shared what she was doing and I decided to take a chance on an at-home fitness and nutrition program. I could not believe how much I did not understand about food for fuel, consistency in exercise, and the benefit of daily community for accountability. I did a 180 in my nutrition, got some really great physical results and slowly started to work on the hardest part...mindset.
For almost 5 years now, I have been using these same tools without needing to leave my house, break my bank account, or give up my guilty pleasures of wine, donuts, and steak nights out.
I have been able get in the best shape of my life from home, breaking through several postpartum plateaus, and continue to make balance and sustainability a part of my everyday life.
My mission now is to continue to show up throughout the hard and busy days to inspire other ladies to know that if I can, YOU can. I truly believe we are stronger together and the best piece of wealth you can ever own is your health. I have coined the term Busy Blessed Mamma to describe life these days—though busy, truly the “wealthiest” I have ever been.
